Today, we’re proud to announce our official launch in the U.S. through a partnership with Veho, the fastest-growing alternative parcel delivery platform in the country. Together, we're introducing our wheeled-legged robots to the streets of Austin to transform how e-commerce parcels reach the doorstep.
The partnership is the start of a smarter model for urban logistics—where robotics, physical AI and people work side by side to scale efficiency, safety, and service quality.
As e-commerce continues its rapid growth, the last mile has become the most complex and costly segment of the logistics chain. And within that mile, the last 100 yards—from the vehicle to the customer’s door—remains a persistent bottleneck.
Our robots, powered by General Physical AI, are purpose-built to handle this challenge. Unlike sidewalk bots that stop at the curb or drones that struggle in dense urban environments, RIVR robots are designed to traverse stairs, gates, uneven paths, and real-world terrain with ease. This allows them to work in true parallel with human drivers—delivering to doorsteps while the driver completes other drops, all without compromising on service.
Veho is known for its customer-first approach to parcel delivery, operating a tech-enabled network that spans over 50 U.S. metro areas. Their platform has redefined what it means to offer fast, reliable, brand-positive delivery at scale. For us, they represent an ideal partner—one that understands how to leverage automation not as a novelty, but as a way to improve outcomes for people and brands.
“With the exponential rise in e-commerce, the last mile has become the most critical—and complex—link in the logistics chain,” said Marko Bjelonic, CEO of RIVR. “Our partnership with Veho is a major milestone on the journey to scale urban robotics where it's needed most.”
“This partnership is an exciting next step in reinventing e-commerce delivery and enabling brands to turn shipping from a cost center to a value driver,” said Itamar Zur, co-founder and CEO of Veho. “Customers care most about cost, reliability and speed—this partnership helps us learn whether human-robot collaboration can raise the bar across all three.”
Our robots are already in action in Austin. While this is a first step, it’s one that lays the foundation for expansion into additional cities later this year.
This is just the beginning of what we believe is a new chapter in last-mile delivery. One where robots don’t replace people—but enable them to deliver more, faster, and with less physical strain. One where automation is built to fit into human workflows, not the other way around.
Our mission at RIVR is bold: to deploy one million delivery robots in the field, enabling a smarter, more scalable model for urban logistics. With the support of forward-thinking partners like Veho—and a relentless focus on human-centered automation—we’re well on our way.
